Arrival and departure

he cottage can be occupied from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and must be left by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Earlier arrival or later departure is possible depending on the occupancy of the guest house, based on prior consultation with the Accommodation Provider. We are personally present upon arrival and departure upon request.
The guest is obliged to show the owner or his representative his personal documents (passport or identity card) for the purpose of official registration.

Key and card

Upon arrival, our guests receive a set of keys with the key to the house, the garden gate, and a card. Please place the card in the card slot next to the entrance door, this will start the electricity service in the house. When you leave, removing the card will turn off the lights in the house to protect our environment.
On the day of departure, please hand over the set of keys to the owner or his agent.

Tranquility of the village

Bánd is an island of peace and tranquility and we would like to kindly ask you to protect this peace as well.

For the peace of the neighbours and the village, it is forbidden to make loud noises, play music, make noise, create sound effects in the garden after 9.00 pm.
Regardless of the time, any conduct or behaviour that disturbs the peace, safety, sense of security, and privacy of others, is or may be considered harassment, and is suitable for intimidating others is prohibited on the territory of the guest house.

The owner is entitled to warn and cancel the accommodation if the guest does not comply with the house rules.

Safety

Smoking is prohibited in the guest house, and only allowed in the courtyard of the property. In order to protect your valuables, gate and house door should be locked any time you leave. We are not responsible for any personal items left in the guest house or its premises. The Guest is responsible for his own behaviour in and around the house, and bears the consequences of any accident.

It is forbidden to bring any kind of flammable material or device into the rooms. Items classified as corrosive or flammable chemicals or substances in current legislation, substances classified as flammable and/or explosive in current legislation, fireworks, firecrackers, their parts, components, waste, psychotropic substances harmful to the environment or health may not be brought into the guest house area.

There are two smoke detectors and one carbon monoxide detector in the guest house. In the event of an alarm and/or fire, please call +36 20 358-5794 immediately.

Cleaning

For stays longer than one week, a one-time cleaning during stay is provided free of charge including a change of bed linen and towels. Cleaning tools and cleaning products are available in the built-in cupboard.

We kindly ask our guests not to eat in the rooms, and use the kitchen and the dining area for meals instead. Before leaving the accommodation, please wash the used dishes.

Selective waste collection

Please collect garbage selectively. Place plastic, aluminum bottles, paper, packaging materials in the narrower container under the sink, and mixed waste in the larger container.

Please place the full garbage bags in the bins behind the house, also selectively, in the marked container.

Ironing

An iron and ironing board are available to our guests in the built-in wardrobe.

Cast iron stove

The cast iron stove, (so-called sparhelt) provides warmth and nice ambience in cold months. It can be used for cooking, baking, and (in addition to floor heating) for a little extra warmth.

Please do not burn materials other than firewood and paper in order to protect our environment.

Parking

Opposite the guest house, there is a gravel parking lot for two cars at guests’ disposal. Please do not park in front of the house, as parked cars in the narrow street obstruct the use of the sidewalk.

WI-FI and mobile phone use

The cottage has a WI-FI system. We can only guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted operation
and availability of the WI-FI if Telekom’s service is also uninterrupted. If you experience an interruption in internet access, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can forward it to the service provider.
Bánd is indeed an island of peace and tranquility, but the price of this is that its mobile network coverage is not perfect. Mobile internet is not available in certain places in the village, and there are also places where the telephone network does not work. Please take this into account when booking. When connected to the WI-FI in the house, or with the WI-FI telephone service turned on/enabled, you can use the mobile phone without any problems on the appropriate devices.

Television

We believe that Bánd and the surrounding countryside, as well as the tranquility of the house and garden, provide plenty of relaxation, so we do not we have equipped our guest house with a TV. Please make your reservation with this in mind.

Babies and children

We are a baby- and child-friendly accommodation. On request, we provide baby tub, high chair baby rocking chair, children’s bed and toys.

Breakfast

A Breakfast Package can be requested at the same time as the reservation, after the needs have been discussed.

Reporting technical problems

If you experience any malfunctions in the guest house, please notify us immediately by calling +36 20 358-5794.

Please use the tools and equipment of the guesthouse as intended. The Guest is obliged to compensate the damage resulting from improper use at the request of the owner, but at the latest before departure.

The Guest is obliged to notify the owner of the failure of any of the guest house’s tools, equipment or equipment. The guest is not entitled to repair the error himself or attempt to repair it. The owner excludes liability for resulting damages.

Dog guest

The cottage is a dog-friendly accommodation and we are looking forward to welcome your four- legged friend as well. Fee for dog accommodation is HUF 4,000 / dog / night. In order to be able to accept a dog, our condition is that the dog has its vaccinations, has a registered chip and is at least 1 year old. Please hand over the garden in the same state as you received it, so use a poop bag and place it closed in the bin behind the house.

Please do not allow dogs on the furniture or beds.

Indoor furniture/outdoor furniture

Furniture and equipment of the cottage may only be taken out of the house with the prior written permission of the owner. Any rearrangement of the house or moving furniture may only be carried out by the ower or his appointed representative.
Please use the furniture in the house only in the house, and use the garden furniture in the garden. We have placed cushions for the garden furniture in the built-in wardrobe. Please place the pillows in the closet every night after use, or in case of rain.

Robotic lawnmower

In the garden, the lawn is mowed by a robotic lawnmower. To avoid accidents, please keep dogs and small children away from the machine. Please let us handle the robot. If you experience any malfunctions, please let us know.

The accommodation is responsible for compensation

The owner of the cottage is not responsible for any damage caused to the guest’s belongings brought into the guest house.
The guest should use the cottage’s equipment and other services as intended, with the awareness and knowledge of his own health, physical and mental state. Therefore the owner excludes responsibility for damages resulting from improper use or use that is not in accordance with the actual health, physical and mental state of the guest.
